As a self-proclaimed Francophile, I also hold quite an affinity for the Union Jack. Perhaps it is my English ancestry, but there is no denying the fact that the Union Jack is one cool flag.

I recently purchased a few remnants of linen that just happened to be cream, rust, and Williamsburg blue.  The color combination struck me as the perfect opportunity to make a pair of “faded” Union Jack pillows.  I cut the fabric into strips and laid out my flags.  I stitched it all together and this is the result.


Because you can never have too many pillows …
