Ever since I picked up this flyer at Goatfeathers, Hoots Flea Market has been on my calendar.

After having the good fortune to visit both the Brooklyn Flea on two separate occasions as well as the Pasadena Flea, I was stoked at the possibility of going to a similar style flea market here in Winston-Salem. Mattie Windsor and I arrived around 11:45am, and we were not disappointed. We made several laps around the small but bustling market and purchased a few small treasures. Of course we stopped to play along the way.  (Thank you to the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store for allowing Mattie Windsor to ride this bouncy horse THREE times.)

Then we took a short rest and stopped inside for a pint of Left Hand Milk Stout for me and a slice of fresh baked banana nut bread for her.

(Special thanks to Anna Rooney for taking this amazing photograph and sending it me.)

Amongst the vendors were my favorite ladies from Goatfeathers as well as Valerie from V’s Treasures.  Check out all of our amazing finds below.
